Introduction
For 2003, Infiniti unveiled the FX crossover. It was a new type of sport utility vehicle—nearly all sport—based on Nissan’s “FM” platform, which it shared with the Nissan 350Z and Infiniti G35 . Entering a segment crowded with characterless offerings, the FX was sleek, stylish and bold. The all-new 2008 Infiniti EX35, a slightly smaller sibling to the FX models, continues the theme—with a bit more opulence inside the cabin. It is a vehicle designed to combine the look and feel of a luxury coupe with the flexibility of an SUV.
Model Lineup
There are four models in the Infiniti EX lineup: EX35 RWD, EX35 AWD, EX35 RWD Journey, and EX35 AWD Journey. All share the same V-6 powerplant—the primary differences are found in the drivetrain and standard equipment levels.

The EX35 RWD is rear-wheel drive and available only with a cloth interior. The EX35 AWD adds all-wheel drive, but still features a cloth-only interior. The upgraded Journey models add leather-appointed seating surfaces, a power slide/tilt moonroof, power-folding second-row seating, auto-dimming inside mirror, HomeLink Universal Transceiver, front and rear sonar system, and auto headlamp control.
